CNC Machinist
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist who will be responsible for operating and setting up complex 3-5 axis CNC mills to machine contoured parts. The role involves calculating and setting up controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth, and angle of cut. The machinist will also be proficient in reading blueprints and using applied math to operate conventional machines as needed. Responsibilities
Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut. Adjust machine controls or control media as required; run proof workpiece to identify possible problems. Set up and operate precision and production machines such as conventional and/or CNC mills, lathes, jig borers, and grinders to machine parts to specifications and/or precision tolerances. Verify conformance of finished workpiece to specifications using various measurement hand tools including, but not limited to, calipers, scales, micrometers, and blocks. Interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining. Essential Skills
Proficiency in operating 3-5 axis CNC mills. Experience with vertical mills, lathes, and fadals. Ability to read blueprints proficiently and apply mathematical skills. Experience working on EDM machines. Why Work Here?
