Job Description Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: - Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Thursday 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Friday 7:30 AM - 11:00 AM Hours per Shift: 40.00 Experience: Minimum 2 years pediatric experience, experience with neurodevelopmental pediatrics preferred. License: PT - Physical Therapist State License Certifications: -

Must-Have: - Pediatric experience of 2 years or more. - Experience working with neuro motor deficits of all abilities. - Experience with infants and babies with torticollis preferred. - Demonstrated professional competencies. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Description: To plan, evaluate, organize, and implement Physical Therapy treatment programs in a developmentally and age-appropriate manner for patients from infancy to adulthood. Complete patient evaluations and reassessments in accordance with guidelines. Develop an individualized plan of care based upon evaluation and reassessment findings. In collaboration with the patient and family, develop measurable long-term and short-term goals. Perform patient care and related activities within the scope of training and responsibilities. Demonstrate advanced clinical competencies in an area of specialty. Manage the schedule effectively to maintain productivity expectations. Participate in ongoing communication and collaboration with other members of the interdisciplinary care team. Coordinate treatment plans with all parties involved in patient care. Monitor patient response to treatment interventions. Recommend appropriate adaptive equipment. Design and fabricate orthotic equipment and supplies. Recommend the termination of treatment when appropriate. Communicate effectively with patients, families, team leaders, and other health care professionals to promote quality patient care. Tasks are characterized by the ability to analyze clinical situations and evaluate priorities, relying on the conscious application of clinical principles. Tasks are focused and methodical.
