Under the direction of the Project Management and/ore Aggregates & Industrial Minerals Discipline Lead: Diverse background on energy, industrial and mining projects Ability to interpret and direct others in the use of planning software programs such as MineSight 3D, Carlson, Minemax, Vulcan, or similar packages Ability to direct others in the use of efficiency and financial programs such as Excel, MineMax, Deswik, Tableau, Monte Carlo, or similar packages Provide mine engineering and financial expertise through strong operational and project-based experience Strong technical writing and communication skills demonstrable through the reporting and presentation process Assist in developing and expanding our services with new and existing clients Manage tasks and direct and develop our staff as required Capability to develop project budgets, determine project scope, establish schedules, process appropriate paperwork, and comfortably interact with clients Ability and desire to engage in business development (e.g. develop proposals and identify project opportunities) with a focus on external relationships and key clients in the US Understanding of contracts and engineering delivery methods and various pricing structures for projects Attention to detail and strong QA/QC skills Understanding of project related risks Strong technical writing and communication skills An existing and well-established network in the mining industry, aggregate or industrial minerals is a plus Exceptional organizational, technical, leadership, written and oral communication and attention to detail skills Education and Experience
Minimum of a B.S. in Mining, Civil, or Geotechnical Engineering Minimum of 8 to 10+ years of experience with project management, aggregate, or multidisciplinary energy, mining, or infrastructure projects preferred Currently licensed or willingness to pursue a P.Eng.
