Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 1st shift, working from 7 AM to 3 PM or 6 AM to 2 PM. The role involves maintaining and supporting product-specific work cells to minimize downtime and optimize productivity in our mixing/mill area. The focus is on power transmission mechanical systems such as conveyors, gearboxes, and fluid transfer equipment. You will be crucial in responding to downtime situations to restore machine operations swiftly, performing preventative maintenance on work cells, and accurately documenting all maintenance activities while identifying potential future issues. Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and support for product-specific work cells to minimize downtime. Optimize productivity by maintaining mechanical systems including conveyors, gearboxes, and fluid transfer equipment. Respond promptly to downtime situations to restore machine operations. Conduct preventative maintenance on all work cells. Document maintenance performed and evaluate potential future maintenance needs. Execute process verification procedures and follow deviation procedures when changing parameters. Repair and replace bearings, hydraulic pumps, cooling pumps, conveyors, belts, and drives. Fabricate necessary components for maintenance. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Essential Skills: 5 years of experience in maintenance and preventative maintenance. 3 years of experience in hydraulic and pneumatic repairs. 3 years of experience in reading blueprints. Facilities maintenance expertise. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience with heavy mixing equipment. Knowledge of automation systems. Experience in automotive maintenance. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
