Shipping Associate Location: Telford, TN Reports To:
Shipping Supervisor / Warehouse Manager Position Summary: The Shipping Associate is responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all shipments meet company quality standards and delivery deadlines. This position plays a key role in maintaining smooth warehouse operations and supporting customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications and company standards. Operate shipping software and systems to generate labels, packing slips, and tracking information. Verify accuracy of order contents and documentation prior to shipment. Inspect products for quality and report any defects or discrepancies to the supervisor. Load shipments onto trucks or pallets, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with warehouse safety guidelines. Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment as needed. Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet shipping schedules and productivity goals. Follow company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred, but not required (training provided). Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software (FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.) a plus. Ability to lift and move up to [50 lbs] on a regular basis. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Work Environment: Warehouse setting with frequent standing, walking, bending and lifting Use of warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and scanners. VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) vertical forklift Dock stocker Forklift
