Reports to: Director of Warehouse Operations Status: Full- time (40 hours) Non-Exempt This position is located in Montgomery, NY Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Prior experience operating power equipment in a warehouse setting preferred. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain power equipment certification. Must possess the flexibility to work in multiples areas during each shift or within the same area for extended periods of time.

Physical Requirements: This position works in a typical warehouse setting and will be exposed to extreme temperatures and/or weather conditions. There will be extended periods of sitting, standing and/or bending, pulling, and reaching. This position would normally have routine opportunities for the employee to be able to alter their physical position or change eye focus. This position will require the safe use of a power equipment. Employee should have the ability to lift up to 80 pounds without assistance.

Position Summary: Assists with the operations of the warehouse including order pulling, food collection, storage, and distribution of warehouse products. Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides assistance in all areas of warehouse operations as needed including distribution, forklift, order selecting (dry, cooler, freezer), and receiving dock. Safely builds pallets of products for delivery and pickup. Assists with food distribution operations. Prepares accurate product receiving records for food donations. Ensures pallets in reserve are stored safely. Replenishes picking locations as needed throughout shift. Pulls and stages items for mass distribution. Assists with placing received products into reserve. Lifts, reserves, and drops pallets of stored goods to and from the overhead steel racking. Prepares and inspects pallets for safe reserving by wrapping, strapping, stacking, labeling, and correcting broken pallets. Assists with the physical inventory process. Maintains a clean and safe workspace. Inspects power equipment prior to use. Follows all safety standards and procedures. Works independently and collaboratively with other departments and employees in support of the mission of the Food Bank. Adheres to the Food Bank's Employee Code of Conduct.
