Front of House Managers at the Whitewater Center are responsible for supervising the front-of-house staff and operations of the River’s Edge restaurant, Pump House Biergarten, catered events, and other food and beverage outlets. This position is a full-time, benefits-eligible role that reports directly to the Director of Food and Beverage. Responsibilities Maintain a strong presence on the floor during restaurant hours, lead by example, and hold the team accountable Ensure quality standards for food and dining experiences are met Anticipate guest needs, and provide each customer with a positive, engaging experience Hire and develop front-of-house staff Enforce performance expectations and utilize evaluation techniques Facilitate communication between the front-of-house and back-of-house Project guest traffic at all food outlets in preparation for efficient daily operations Manage labor costs, adjusting staffing levels as needed Practice daily recordkeeping of product waste and participate in monthly inventory processes Order food and beverage products based on predetermined par levels and anticipated business needs Other duties as assigned
Requirements Management level experience in a fast-paced, high-volume dining atmosphere Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills Excellent service skills, professional demeanor Ability to adjust operations based upon business demands Maintain availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays with frequency Physical Demands Must be able to safely self-transport over uneven terrain or in a confined space Must be able to stand for sustained periods of time Must be able to lift and move at least 50 pounds Benefits Access to Whitewater Center's pass activities Staff discount program and pro deals Health, Dental, Vision, FSA 401K Paid Time Off

Department The Food and Beverage Department delivers exceptional, chef-driven culinary service to Whitewater guests. Whitewater is home to diverse and ever-evolving food and beverage outlets, including full-service and fast-casual dining options. In addition, the Food and Beverage Department oversees catering for private events and Adventure Dining.
