The
Automotive Technician
is responsible for diagnosing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality, safe, and efficient service. Technicians use digital inspection tools, communicate findings, and collaborate with service advisors and management to ensure vehicles are repaired right the first time and customers stay safe on the road. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive
digital vehicle inspections . Diagnose and repair:
Brake and steering systems HVAC systems and engine cooling components Engine performance and drivability issues
Complete routine maintenance services (coolant, brake, power steering, transmission flushes, etc.). Conduct
state inspections
(emissions and safety). Perform
wheel alignments , tire rotations, and tire pressure checks. Maintain a
clean and safe
work environment. Document work performed accurately using shop management software. Collaborate with service advisors and management to ensure workflow and communication. Licenses & Certifications State Vehicle Inspector License – required Refrigerant Recovery Certification (ASE or MACA) – preferred ASE Certifications – preferred Valid Driver’s License Job Requirements Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum
3 years of professional experience
as an automotive technician Licensing: Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record Skills & Competencies: Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills Proficiency with scan tools and shop equipment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and time management skills Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to
75 lbs consistently , and up to
100 lbs occasionally Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and use of hand and power tools
