The Hilton Charlotte University Place has an exciting opportunity to join our hotel as a Catering Manager. This outstanding hotel offers amazing amenities and is the perfect brand and location to represent. The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue for the catering sales segment. You will develop and execute sales strategies, manage client relationships, and oversee event planning and execution. Their role involves both sales and operational tasks, ensuring client satisfaction and profitability.

Actively seek out new clients and manage existing accounts to generate catering sales and revenue. This includes utilizing various sales techniques, such as cold calling, networking, and attending industry events. Build rapport and maintaining positive relationships with clients is crucial. This involves understanding their needs, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the event planning process and during the event itself. Handle all aspects of event planning, from initial consultations and menu selection to contract negotiations, staffing, and logistics. They work closely with the culinary team and service staff to ensure a smooth and successful event. Develop and implement effective sales strategies, setting sales goals, and monitoring performance are key. Responsible for managing budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring the profitability of events. Qualifications:
Prior catering sales experience. Hilton experience is ideal but not required. Self-starter mentality. Passion for all things catering. Weekend availability.
