Summary As a Warehouse Associate, the incumbent will play a vital role in the companys logistics and supply chain operations. Primary responsibilities will include inventory management, receiving, shipping, and ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods. The warehouse associate will work closely with the lead warehouse associate or designee to maintain organized, safe, and effective warehouse operations.
Primary Duties
Inventory Management:
Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming inventory for accuracy and condition Label and store items in designated locations within the warehouse Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management software Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures to optimize storage space and minimize loss Shipping and Receiving:
Prepare and process outgoing shipments according to customer orders and shipping schedules Ensure all shipments are accurately packed, labeled, and documented Coordinate with shipping carriers for pick-up and delivery Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy Process returns as required Handle and resolve shipping-related issues and discrepancies Warehouse Operations:
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents to the warehouse manager Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed Collaborate with other warehouse associates and departments to meet operational goals Quality Control:
Inspect products for visual defects or damage before receiving and shipping Ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications Participate in quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
This position involves working in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures Standing, walking, bending, and lifting are required throughout the shift Lifting and moving heavy items (up to 50 pounds, occasionally 75 pounds) Ability to work overtime, if needed
Other duties as assigned
Participate in disassembling medical equipment, as needed
Job Requirements and qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a warehouse, inventory management, or shipping role Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory software Familiarity with medical imaging equipment/parts a plus Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Mechanically inclined
