The

Mailroom Associate

will report to the Client Services Supervisor, Client Services Manager, or equivalent leadership. Job Overview: The

Mailroom Associate

provides exceptional mail and shipping/receiving services, delivering operational functions in the following areas:

processing of inbound/outbound mail,

distributing/delivering

mail, shipping and receiving products and supplies to support the onsite business service center in a timely manner. Overall, this position continuously offers the highest level of service to all client and SPS employees while maintaining a professional image of the company by providing prompt, courteous, and efficient service. Typical Working Hours:

Mondays to Fridays, 8AM - 5PM Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver 5-star customer service across all communication channels Receive, sort, and log incoming mail/packages using tracking software Operate mailroom equipment (postage meter, copier, inserter, etc.) Manage outgoing mail and shipping/receiving tasks Maintain accurate records of mail and package transactions Notify and distribute deliveries to employees Handle mail/package inquiries and submit work orders as needed Keep the Business Service Center clean and organized Monitor and restock office supplies Proactively identify tasks during downtime Build strong relationships with employees and cross-functional teams Maintain professionalism in all interactions Train backup staff and support sensitive requests appropriately Provide reception, concierge, or hospitality support as needed Competencies : Strong verbal and written communication Excellent customer service and organizational skills Proficient in MS Office and general PC use Able to multitask and work independently Familiar with mailroom/MFD equipment and shipping/receiving procedures Detail-oriented with ability to follow instructions and ensure packaging/shipping accuracy Qualifications and Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of related experience preferred Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage time effectively and work assigned hours Proficient in or able to learn computer-based systems Professional appearance and adherence to company policies required Physical Demands: Ability to lift/move packages up to 60 lbs. using a wheeled cart Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, or sitting Manual dexterity for operating office equipment Clear verbal and written communication and comprehension skills Travel: None or Negligible Other Duties: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Pay Range

$18—$18.50 USD
