QualDerm Partners is seeking a motivated Dermatology Medical Assistant to become part of our dedicated team. As a Dermatology Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in facilitating patient care and ensuring that our practice operates smoothly. Responsibilities Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and documenting medical histories. Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are prepared. Conduct basic laboratory tests and manage specimen handling for analysis. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to privacy regulations. Schedule patient appointments and facilitate office communications for efficient operations. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and effective skincare practices. Ensure examination rooms are clean, well-organized, and adequately stocked with medical supplies. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred. Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical setting is desirable. Familiarity with medical terminology, particularly in dermatology. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and staff. Capability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in a busy environment.
