Position Overview This is a full-time role responsible for expanding the client base within a designated territory while leading and mentoring an assigned Associate Account Manager. The Senior Account Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales, building strategic relationships with key decision-makers, and supporting regional growth for the brewing, distilling, and specialty beverage markets. Key Responsibilities Client & Territory Management Build, maintain, and grow a portfolio of accounts while actively identifying new business opportunities. Take the lead on high-value or complex accounts, guiding relationship strategy and ensuring client satisfaction. Oversee the performance of an Associate Account Manager, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback. Ensure sales and client service targets are met, supporting the Associate's success as part of your own. Strategic Planning Contribute to the development of growth strategies and market plans. Conduct market and competitive analysis to uncover opportunities and inform decision-making. Represent the company at a senior level with customers, trade shows, and industry events. Collaborate closely with internal departments—marketing, procurement, project management, and accounting—to ensure smooth execution of client projects. Analytics & Reporting Provide accurate sales forecasts and territory performance updates. Maintain up-to-date CRM records for yourself and your Associate Account Manager. Track and manage budgets for trade shows, preparing cost-benefit analyses as needed. Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of building lasting client relationships. Strategic thinker with the ability to see both the big picture and the details. Proven ability to mentor and develop team members. Commitment to continuous learning and industry knowledge growth.
