Job Description Salary: $21.00 Job Title: Behavior Technician (BT) Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to provide direct, one-on-one support to individuals with developmental, behavioral, and learning needs. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the BT will implement individualized behavior intervention plans to help clients develop essential skills and achieve their goals. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct behavior intervention services in home, school, or community settings. Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction. Collect accurate data on client progress and communicate findings to the supervising BCBA. Use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to teach communication, social, self-help, and academic skills. Support clients in developing coping strategies and positive behaviors. Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment. Collaborate with families, teachers, and other team members to support client success. Attend training sessions, team meetings, and supervision as required. Adhere to ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelors degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred). Completion of Behavior Technician training or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred. Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities a plus. Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills. Ability to follow treatment plans accurately and work as part of a team. Work Environment: Sessions may take place in homes, schools, clinics, or community settings. Requires physical activity, including bending, lifting, or playing with clients.
