We are seeking a skilled
Electric Motor Mechanic
to join our growing team in
Terre Haute, IN . This role offers hands-on work with a variety of industrial electrical and mechanical equipment, in a professional shop environment, with opportunities for growth and development. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, disassemble, repair, rewind, and test a variety of
industrial AC/DC motors , generators, pumps, gearboxes, and related equipment. Use precision tools and equipment, including
multimeters, high-pot testers, growlers, micrometers, and calipers
for accurate diagnostics and measurement. Perform
failure analysis , document findings, and identify replacement parts following proper procedures. Reassemble and test equipment to
OEM, EASA, and customer specifications . Perform both
in-house
and occasional
on-site repairs . Maintain accurate records of troubleshooting, repairs, and quality inspections. Follow all
mechanical and electrical safety practices . Qualifications
Required: 2+ years of industrial electric motor repair experience
(not automotive motors) or equivalent training (EASA/military preferred). Hands-on
motor winding
and
motor mechanic
experience. Strong knowledge of diagnostic, repair, and testing procedures for electric motors and related equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Preferred Qualifications: ISO 9001
knowledge or certification. Additional certifications in motor repair, industrial maintenance, or electrical safety.
