What You’ll Do As a 2nd Shift Machine Operator, you’ll: Operate press brake and other machinery. Measure steel blanks and parts using tape measures. Perform setups and adjustments using layout marks, drawings, and verbal instructions. Ensure quality and precision in every step of the process. Use a fork truck or pallet jack to move material from storage racks. Ready to Apply? Basic: Ability to work evening or night shift; Ability to read, understand and interpret a bill of material, schematic, drawing, and/or specification; Ability to communicate with and follow direction of leaders within the area; Able to work over-time as needed; Successfully complete: application, talent assessment, interview, drug & background screen. Safety-sensitive position: we test for THC. Resides or intends to reside within a reasonable commute of distance of Washington, MO; Has current work authorization for employment in the United States; Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent; Two years of prior manufacturing experience; Prior press brake experience; Successful completion of the National Career Readiness Certificate ® (NCRC) offered through the ACT WorkKeys program;
