Responsibilities/Duties Conducts basic properties testing to determine product conformance to specifications Identifies “out-of-spec” materials as defined by the material specifications. Communicates discrepancies initiating appropriate inter-departmental “Final Inspection Out of Spec Report” forms Enters test result in ERP (DEACOM and QC database (Excel) Operates testing equipment by following operating instructions as required Responsible for the preparation and hand-spraying of application panels Ensures that QC equipment calibrations, verification and maintenance meets requirements Conducts sample tests as specified by customer. Communicates discrepancies to team leader, QC supervisor or QC manager Assist with raw material testing Assists with Pre-Treatment product testing Relieves other technicians as needed Utilizes prudent practices and appropriate safety, health, and environmental procedures as required Additional
