About the Role: We are seeking a skilled HVAC
Start-Up Field Technician
to perform Residential New Construction (RNC) HVAC system start-ups and ensure top-quality installation, performance, and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will diagnose and repair HVAC equipment issues, address warranty-related start-up concerns, and work closely with Service and RNC Managers to reduce call-backs, improve system design performance, and maintain efficiency in the field. Work Hours: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Some evenings and weekends may be required Key Responsibilities: Perform start-ups for RNC HVAC systems according to company policies and training methods Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment, including warranty-related start-up issues Assist Service and RNC Managers in reducing design-related call-backs and improving performance Maintain truck stock inventory and ensure proper seasonal stock levels Support and mentor new start-up technicians, sharing troubleshooting and repair expertise Interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and load calculations to ensure accurate installations Complete all required paperwork daily with accurate materials, hours, and job details Keep company vehicles, tools, and job sites clean, organized, and safe Maintain professional appearance, attitude, and exceptional customer service at all times Promote a positive company culture and follow all OSHA safety guidelines Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of HVAC experience or equivalent service industry experience Strong troubleshooting skills with a wide range of HVAC equipment Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and load calculations Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques Valid driver’s license and clean driving record High School Diploma or equivalent Proficiency with basic computer skills Excellent communication and advanced customer service skills Strong organizational skills and ability to lift 50–100 lbs regularly Willingness to take on leadership responsibilities and mentor others Performance Expectations: Minimize unproductive labor and lost time Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally Maintain low warranty start-up call-back rates Ensure accuracy of all paperwork and documentation Keep work vehicles and job sites organized and clean Why Join Us?
