Welders
FurstStaffing has an immediate need for three experienced
Welders
to join the staff of our established Freeport client. These are Furst-to-Hire opportunities, working on the 1st shift. Ideal candidates will have previous welding experience and be willing to conduct other production activities within the facility as needed. The
Welders
ensure that product meets quality standards, and that production efficiency is met.
Hours:
6am to 3pm, M-Th; 6am to 2pm on Fri; Some Saturdays 6am to 11am
Pay:
$16/hour, with .50/hour increases every 30 days based on production and attendance

Welder Responsibilities:
Set up and operate welding machines based on shop floor jobs and welding specifications Read and interpret drawings and prints to determine the specific welding requirements Weld in at least one of the following materials: aluminum, stainless steel and carbon steel using both MIG and TIG equipment and processes Calculate and use charts to convert decimals to fractions as well as the ability to use calipers, tape measures and angle gauges Set up weld cells for production runs Welder Requirements:
