Welcome to an opportunity where precision meets innovation! Join us as a Precision CNC Machining Specialist at the Timken Aurora Bearing facility. Whether you prefer mornings or afternoons, we have shifts available for dedicated machinists. Unlock Your Potential with Growth Opportunities and Paid Training Your journey begins at a competitive rate of $20.50/hr, with an additional $1.50 for the 2nd shift. Your Core Responsibilities: Utilize your expertise to program and handle CNC machines to transform bar stock into specialized components. Manage various operations such as drilling, chamfering, and grooving.
Accurately select and adjust tooling, fixtures, and machine settings according to specifications.
Ensure the first piece meets all set standards, document the setup, and achieve approval for production runs.
Monitor machine cycles, making dynamic adjustments to ensure the consistent quality of parts.
Oversee machine maintenance, ensuring optimal fluid levels and functionality.
Surface grind and re-sharpen arbor teeth as needed for precision.
What We Expect: High school credential or equivalent
Preferably one year of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing setting.
Vast knowledge of equipment such as Hardinge lathe, HAAS, Mazak, Ganesh, Doosan a plus.
Familiarity with blueprints, gages, and micrometers.
Our 1st shift runs Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm, with the 2nd from 3:30pm - 12:00am.
