Job Title: CNC Lathe and Mill Machinist Job Description: We are seeking experienced CNC Lathe and Mill Machinists who can keep up with our fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. Duties/Responsibilities:
Set up CNC lathes and/or Mills according to blueprint specifications Select and align holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines Machine parts according to blueprint specifications Conduct quality assurance checks Make machine adjustments Modify program speeds Meet production schedules Follow all safety regulations Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalency certificate (GED) Apprenticeship or training program On the job experience Journeyman-level experience a plus Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) a plus Familiarity with measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers Experience working with various metal and plastic materials Technical ability and basic math skills
