Position Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist leads full-cycle recruitment efforts for Family Express, sourcing and hiring top talent across both
corporate/executive
and store associate positions. This role champions the employer brand, leverages multiple recruiting platforms, and builds strong candidate pipelines to meet the company’s growth and talent needs. The Specialist collaborates with Human Resources, hiring managers, and external partners to deliver a smooth, efficient, and positive hiring experience.
General Purpose:
Maintain culture building and development of the Family Express “Living Brand” by observing all aspects of the company’s Human Resources and the Human Resource department, consistent with the Family Express vision and mission. Aids all levels of the company, adhering to all department policies and procedures.
Position Responsibilities Manage full cycle recruiting for corporate, executive, and store associate positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers. Develop and maintain recruiting pipelines and talent pools for critical and recurring roles. Leverage multiple recruiting platforms (Paylocity, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.) to post jobs, source candidates, and track applicant progress. Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, provide market insights, and align recruitment strategies. Coordinate and participate in job fairs, hiring events, and campus recruiting efforts as needed. Support employer branding efforts, including social media presence and community outreach to attract diverse candidates. Ensure all recruiting activities comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies. Manage recruitment metrics and reporting to provide insights on hiring effectiveness and time-to-fill. Assist with onboarding coordination and new hire communication to enhance the candidate experience. Collaborate with HR team members to support internal promotions, transfers, and workforce planning. Continuously improve recruiting processes and candidate experience through feedback and industry best practices. Monitor associate morale and company culture Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Human Resources, talent management, and employment law Responsible for the management of risk within all layers of the company, including reporting, incident line, and minimizing financial impact Other duties as assigned by supervisor Requirements:
Role Qualifications: Experience managing full cycle recruiting for both corporate and high-volume store positions Proficient in recruiting platforms such as applicant tracking systems, Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, and others Strong employer branding and candidate engagement skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously Must be available on call 24/7 to support stores and all levels of the organization Familiarity with retail or convenience store industry recruiting preferred Essential Skills and Experience: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment regulations Experience in full-cycle recruiting, both high-volume and executive-level Expertise in ATS systems and recruiting platforms High comfort level working independently and collaboratively Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/talent management systems Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment Non-Essential Skills and Experience: Previous retail or convenience store industry experience 2–4 year degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field Reporting To This Position:

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
