Job Summary:

We are seeking a

Senior Project Manager

with

10+ years of experience

to lead complex projects focused on

API integrations

within the

healthcare sector . The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in API integration, a deep understanding of healthcare systems, and proven success in managing cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, high-impact solutions on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the

end-to-end delivery

of API integration projects with healthcare clients, vendors, and EHR systems.

Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and risks across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Oversee the integration of systems using healthcare data exchange standards like

FHIR ,

HL7 , and

X12/EDI .

Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and product teams to define and deliver technical solutions aligned with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including health systems, payers, EHR vendors, and internal leadership.

Create and manage detailed project documentation including project plans, risk logs, status reports, and change requests.

Facilitate meetings, agile ceremonies, and decision-making processes across technical and non-technical teams.

Monitor project performance, ensure QA/testing alignment, and drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of professional experience in

project management , with at least 5+ years in the

healthcare domain .

Proven track record managing

API integration

projects in complex, regulated environments.

Strong knowledge of

healthcare interoperability standards :

FHIR ,

HL7 ,

X12/EDI , etc.

Experience working with major EHR platforms (e.g.,

Epic ,

Cerner ,

Athenahealth ,

Allscripts ).

Strong understanding of

HIPAA ,

HITECH , and healthcare compliance protocols.

Proficiency with project management tools (e.g.,

JIRA ,

Smartsheet ,

Microsoft Project ,

Confluence ).

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification.

Familiarity with agile/hybrid methodologies in healthcare IT settings.

Experience managing third-party vendors or offshore development teams.

Technical background (e.g., in systems integration, software development, or solution architecture) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution skills.

Strategic thinker with strong organizational and time management abilities.

Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
