*Pay is Negotiable, Based on Experience - Please note we are looking for an entry or mid-level candidate* Duties and Responsibilities Perform mechanical duties on equipment as instructed, in accordance with QA, health/safety and OSHA requirements and policies Disassemble, assemble and test equipment at the direction of the Workshop Manager Perform fabrication of lightweight apparatus and/or structures used in the maintenance of equipment Interface with project management, engineers, technical personnel and other staff as needed to complete projects. Perform housekeeping and maintenance activities as required Provide any additional support where needed Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Job Qualifications A minimum of three years of experience with refurbishment / reconditioning on parts in a job shop or similar environment Knowledge of disassembly, assembly, machining and fabrication methods including MIG, SMAW & TIG welding practices Knowledge of overhead crane, lift trucks and maintenance including hoisting and rigging techniques Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic & piping systems Knowledge of electrical systems (wiring motors and small panels) Knowledge in the use of hand and power tools Ability to read prints and drawings Ability to follow step-by-step procedures with accuracy Candidate must have good interpersonal and communication skills Must have a valid driver's license Education Requirements:
