Position Overview
DTSI is seeking an Air Transportation Analyst for an Air Force contract at Scott AFB in O'Fallon, IL to provide professional and functional Subject Matter Expertise for operational end users in the Remote Manifesting Resolution Center (RMRC) and associated support tools for application functionality, related user productivity (e.g. optimization of workload and application utility) and end user assistance with maximizing In-transit Visibility (ITV) of real world and exercise passenger/cargo operations.
Work Location & Hours In-office work setting located at Scott AFB, O'Fallon, IL This position is working the 3rd shift of the operation: 10pm to 6am; weekends and holidays may be required
Duties and Responsibilities
Within the RMRC, the Analyst will maintain cargo/passenger screening and manifesting applications in support of Air Mobility Command (AMC) Aerial Ports and designated USAF operational
scenarios/locations
where logistics personnel do not have access to automated In-Transit Visibility (ITV) systems. They will apply USAF Transportation (2TXXX) and/or global mobility Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to resolve general air manifesting, workload reporting, record keeping, and GATES-user problems experienced by the Air Transportation community. They will facilitate overall process improvements for data collection, input, analysis, reconciliation, and record keeping processes for Air Terminal Records and Reporting functions world-wide. They will establish and stand-up new accounts on GATES. Answer functional questions of users in operations of GATES (50%) of time. Act as Workstation Area Security Officer (WASO) when site locations lose functionality. Research lost baggage reports and determine most effective resolution (25%). Build and deliver tools to field users to enhance system functionality (25%) Required Qualifications
4+ years' experience with Air Transportation (2T2/605) or DoD logistics passenger/cargo movement operations Proficient with Global Air Transportation Execution System (GATES) Familiar with In-Transit Visibility (ITV) systems that support global AMC operations Skilled with automated and manual cargo/passenger manifesting requirements Experience with Passenger Service Operations to include passenger
antihacking/screening,
manifesting, lost baggage, and Customer Identification Codes (CIC) Knowledgeable of Over/Short Shipment Reports, Monthly Station Traffic Handling Reports, and GATES cargo/passenger queries
Desired Skills
Familiarity with operations of all or some of the following software applications:
Integrated Development Environment GTN Conveyance (IGC) Electronic Advance Passenger Information System (eAPIS) eSecure Flight Transportation Management System (TMS) Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS) Distribution Component Billing System (DCBS) Global Decision Support System (GDSS) C2Remedy Hyperion Toad Data Point Microsoft Office products SharePoint Education
Associate's degree in relevant field or additional 2 years' experience Security
