Supportive and caring individuals with good verbal communication skills looking for a position to work with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) in a residential home setting. The Residential staff helps by providing support and training to 5 - 6 individuals each day. Job Type:

Full-time; typically, 40 hours per week Rate

Monday -Friday 8:00 am -4:00 pm Zip Code :28215 What You'll Do: Teach meal planning and cooking. Instruct and assist with household cleaning, personal care & hygiene. Facilitating community integration by providing community recreational activities when available Offer guidance with in-home leisure activities. Documentation of activities. Helping residents develop healthy social habits. Dispensing medication and monitoring dosages. Attending doctor's appointments as needed. Must be willing to drive a full-size passenger van. Applicant must be at least 18 years old and have s ix months of verifiable direct experience working with individuals with disabilities (paid or volunteer)

preferred. In lieu of experience with disabilities, other relevant experience may be considered with additional on-the-job training. All experience must be verifiable.
