Job Title: Auto Body Painter – 1st Shift
Location: Kings Mountain, NC
Shift: 1st Shift – Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (overtime as needed) Pay: Based on experience
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Painter to join our team on 1st shift. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality paint finishes on commercial truck parts and vehicles. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive or industrial painting, a keen eye for detail, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and cleaning Mix and apply paint using spray equipment (HVLP, airless, etc.) Follow paint specifications and company standards for quality and finish Inspect finished work for accuracy, color match, and overall quality Maintain a clean and safe work area Assist with minor bodywork or prep as needed Qualifications:
2+ years of auto body or industrial painting experience preferred Familiarity with paint mixing and spraying techniques Ability to use hand and power tools Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment Reliable and punctual Preferred:
Experience working in a production or manufacturing setting Knowledge of safety practices and personal protective equipment (PPE) Benefits:
