to join our

Southeast

office. SALARY: The average starting salary for this position will fall in the range of

$41,000

and

$51,000

annually. Where candidates fall in this range will be based on skill and experience level. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Develop and foster professional relationships with employers, placement agencies, and temporary agencies to ensure consistent contact for job leads within the community based on assessed needs of clients. Continuous outreach to job seekers who are ready for employment. Assist with job readiness training, where needed. Assist job seekers with job search and research. Provide employment guidance and creates individual employment plans that outlines client’s employment objectives. Assist job ready clients to obtain permanent, unsubsidized jobs in high demand industries. Make recommendations on the design and development of employment service marketing program. Make presentations to business within the community to promote employment services program and develop new jobs for consumers. Facilitate Job Clubs with guest speakers and employers about various life skills, career development, job related topics, income supports, job leads, etc. In collaboration with Career Coach provide retention support. Works within contract, grant, and program requirements including meeting timelines and reporting requirements. Utilizes a team approach and works with other program staff in the planning and implementation of services. Takes increasing responsibility for own professional development, utilizing supervision and other developmental opportunities within and outside the agency to enhance skills and understanding. Works effectively with diverse staff and service populations. Provides exceptional customer service. Other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES: Highly organized. Knowledge of Excel to track economic self-sufficiency data. Required to work one Saturday and at least one late night a month. Works with employers to secure employment verification. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business, Social Science, Communications, or a related field

preferred. At least three years of training or demonstrated experience in a related area

preferred. Requires mobility to work with community-based caseload

preferred. General knowledge of job trends & labor market (under duties and responsibilities)

preferred. Excellent verbal & written communication skills (ability to explain a program to clients & employers)

preferred. Highschool Diploma with 7+ years of experience in employer outreach, sales, marketing or related field

required. At least 3+ years of training or demonstrated experience in a related area

required. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Satisfactorily pass all relevant screenings and criminal background checks. TRANSPORTATION/TRAVEL

REQUIREMENTS: Driving for work required with a personally owned vehicle. Travel between sites required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and stand for sustained periods of time, frequently talk, hear, use hands and fingers to feel, handle and operate objects or controls, and occasionally stand, bend, stretch, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing and viewing a computer terminal.
