We are a Foot and Ankle surgical podiatry practice covering a diverse range of pathologies from routine foot care and wound care to advanced trauma and foot and ankle surgeries. We are currently seeking a podiatrist to assist with hospital and nursing home rounds. The position includes one day a week in the office for routine foot care.
The Podiatrist will provide general podiatry services to residents of nursing homes, assisted living, and long-term care facilities within an assigned territory, including hospital rounds and wound care.
Essential Functions:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide regular podiatry care. Manage wound care treatments. Enter patient information and complete clinical documentation using our EMR system. Travel daily to skilled nursing facilities and hospitals for mobile treatment of patients. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Completion of a 3-year podiatric residency program. Current NJ professional license. Valid driver’s license. Ability to work independently. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with email, internet, and healthcare software.
