We are conducting a national search for a

Director of Neuromuscular Medicine , preferably with a focus on inflammatory neuropathy. The director will lead our Neuromuscular Division faculty, collaborating with the Department Chair on strategy and operations. Responsibilities include overseeing research, clinical practice, teaching, policy development, and performance improvement.

The neuromuscular team includes three full-time faculty and a combined ACGME-accredited neuromuscular fellowship program with UCLA, as well as an accredited neurophysiology fellowship covering EMG, EEG, and IOM. Cedars-Sinai's ALS program is among the largest nationally, recognized as a Certified Treatment Center of Excellence and a Muscular Dystrophy Association ALS Care Center.

Faculty have unique research funding opportunities through CIRM and Cedars-Sinai's Regenerative Medicine Institute, with ongoing novel stem cell projects in neurology.

Our neurosciences program is #1 in Los Angeles County for inpatient discharges, offering advanced care for over 150 neurological disorders, with a focus on research, clinical outcomes, and personalized patient attention.

Cedars-Sinai is a leading nonprofit academic medical center with 886 beds, over 2,100 physicians, and a broad range of clinical programs and community services.

Compensation:

Competitive total package, including pay, benefits, and incentives. Pay range: $324,247 - $510,026.

Qualifications:

Medical Degree from an accredited institution

Board Certification in Neurology and Neuromuscular Medicine or Neurophysiology

Unrestricted California medical license

Eligible for academic appointment at Cedars-Sinai and the David Geffen School of Medicine

Peer-reviewed publications and experience as principal or co-investigator

Excellence in teaching, patient care, research, and administration
