Base pay range:
$85,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
Role Overview The Director of Sales-Select Service oversees sales and marketing for a hotel, aiming to maximize revenue through occupancy and ADR growth. Responsibilities include managing sales operations, staff hiring, training, budgeting, and strategic planning for one hotel. The role requires working beyond standard hours, with overtime applicable for OEM associates.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of hotel sales experience preferred; or a 4-year degree with 1 year of experience; or a 2-year degree with 2 years of experience
Valid driver’s license
Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and sales skills
Strong analytical and strategic skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
Strong organizational and presentation skills
Ability to work with diverse groups and solve complex problems
Knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles
Ability to perform under pressure and interpret financial data
Responsibilities
Coordinate sales efforts for group, transient, and catering bookings
Manage budgets, marketing plans, and revenue strategies
Conduct outside sales calls and client entertainment
Negotiate contracts and monitor market trends
Train hotel staff on sales opportunities
Maintain community and industry relationships
Travel weekly as required
Represent the hotel in the absence of the General Manager
