What you’ll do

Diagnose and treat pets with illnesses and injuries, and counsel clients in well pet care.

Model medical excellence to a team of two to four doctors, ensuring procedures and guidelines are followed for patient care and member experience.

Uphold Small Door's culture and values among the practice team and members.

Mentor doctors on clinical skills, performance metrics, client satisfaction, teamwork, medical quality, record keeping, and production; lead regular check-ins for professional development.

Partner with the Member Experience Manager to support collaboration between the Member Experience and Medical Teams.

Collaborate with the Head Nurse to foster open communication, continuous learning, and excellence.

Manage controlled substances, review practice orders, and ensure DEA logbooks are maintained per SOPs.

Who you are

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent with an active state and DEA license, and 5+ years of experience.

Professional, with excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication.

Committed to high standards of medicine and ethics.

Experienced team leader with mentoring interest.

Team-oriented and collaborative.

DC Pay Range: $220,000 - $240,000 USD
