JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for effeciently and accurately performing the assigned station. Incumbent must work together with other line members to ensure optimum efficiency and to promptly report any concerns.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow All GMP expectations. Complete assigned tasks in prompt fashion Maintain proper PPE and sanitation procedures Communicate production concerns promptly to lead or supervisor. Ensure quality specifications are met. Ensure that all Safety rules, OSHA requirements and Company Policies are followed.
Other responsibilities as assigned by Management. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Qualified individuals must be at least 18 years old to work in the food manufacturing environment. Ability to follow work instruction and keep pace of production is required. Effective communication skills are needed to support production. This position requires incumbent to have keen attention to detail and experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. The individual must be able to perform each essential job duty and responsibility satisfactorily.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work in and out of cold environment. Must wear required PPE and sanitation protocol Lift up to 40 lbs. Maneuver around an array of equipment that may include
Bending Stooping reaching above head.
Stand for majority of shift, up to 8 hrs. at a time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position works in a manufacturing environment with variable temperature and loud noises from machinery and equipment alarms.
