Job Description Salary: beginning at $21.00 based on experience Our innovative and growing company is seeking candidates to join our team for a low voltage alarm/security technician! To join our team, please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications below. Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair alarm systems. Troubleshoot and configure access control and intrusion systems. Installing and repairing residential and commercial, CCTV, burglary, and fire alarm systems. Readjust equipment, repair, or replace equipment and test for operation. Ability to travel overnight for consecutive days as needed to repair, fix, install, and test equipment. Conduct routine preventative maintenance on systems. Run and terminate low voltage cable. Identify risk to customers and provide effective solutions. Respond to customer service calls and perform scheduled maintenance calls. Qualifications: Previous experience in security installation, maintenance, or other related fields is beneficial but not required. Familiarity with hand and power tools. Ability to handle physical workload. Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills. Strong attention to detail. Be able to lift 50 pounds or more, climb ladders, pull wire. Able to read and interpret blueprints, architectural, mechanical, and electrical documents is preferred. The starting wage in this ad is reflective of minimum wage - Pay is commiserate with experience and will be discussed during the job offer phase.
