Oliver Wyman’s Private Equity team in North America is looking to hire consultants to support its rapid growth. The team works with private equity investors throughout the deal lifecycle, from opportunity identification through due diligence and post-transaction value realization. At Oliver Wyman, we take a multi-specialist approach, bringing together industry and functional expertise supported by proprietary methods and a global network. This enables our clients to achieve exceptional results on deals and post-transaction.

Senior Consultant and Associate The Role and Responsibilities We are not typical management consultants. We provide industry- and discipline-specific expertise to amplify our impact and shape our clients’ futures. The team seeks experienced professionals interested in focusing on industries serving private equity clients, including FinTech, Aerospace & Defense, and Education. Oliver Wyman is a diverse, entrepreneurial partnership of individuals pursuing new opportunities or building unique franchises in a collaborative, enjoyable environment. Clients hire Oliver Wyman for specialized expertise. The ideal candidate will have: Professional experience or exposure to commercial due diligence in management consulting. Experience working within industries relevant to private equity. Knowledge of customer research techniques (interviews, surveys, focus groups, etc.). Strong strategic problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings. Fluency in English. An undergraduate or advanced degree from a reputable academic program. Initiative to learn new skills and apply existing ones effectively. Creativity to develop innovative solutions for clients’ challenges. Aptitude for analytical work, such as analyzing large data sets and identifying key issues.
