Meta is seeking AI Software Engineers to join our Research & Development teams. The ideal candidate will have industry experience working on VLM, LLMs, and related topics. The position involves applying these skills to solve some of the most crucial & exciting problems on the web. We are hiring in multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
Apply relevant AI and machine learning techniques to build intelligent visual systems that enhance Meta's products and experiences.
Advance the state of AI for your problem, including setting and executing roadmaps for 6-month plus timeframes.
Define projects for other engineers to solve and achieve impact based on your direction.
Develop novel, accurate AI algorithms and systems for large-scale applications.
Understand signal and model configuration effectiveness to optimize gains.
Define use cases, methodologies, and benchmarks for evaluating approaches.
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field prior to joining Meta.
2+ years of experience in developing computer vision algorithms or infrastructure in C/C++ or Python.
Experience in Deep Learning, Computer Vision, AR/VR, 3D Vision, Robotics, or AI.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.
Experience with distributed systems or on-device algorithm development.
Contributions to AI publications.
Additional Details: Base pay range: $56.25/hour to $173,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits. Compensation varies based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
