We are seeking dynamic leaders with a proven track record in project management and MEP system design, ready to drive innovation across our diverse projects. We are currently accepting applications for a Licensed (PE) Mechanical Engineer at a Senior Associate level to join our team in Santa Ana, Pasadena, or San Francisco. This role offers a hybrid schedule, with Mondays and Tuesdays in the office, site visits, and remote work for the rest of the week. Essential Functions Leverage your knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to: Conduct property condition assessments (PCAs) Provide cost estimations Peer review building designs Perform energy audits, system commissioning, forensic evaluations, construction management, and design evaluations of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems Communicate effectively with site personnel and clients Engage in diverse projects with unique challenges Travel to project sites is required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience BSME, BSEE, or BSAE with a mechanical specialty preferred; PE license; 15+ years of experience in building systems design and evaluation Proven leadership and project management skills Expertise in HVAC and plumbing; basic knowledge of electrical and fire protection systems Knowledge of building codes, facilities engineering, energy audits, commissioning, and sustainability Ability to assess MEP systems, report issues, and solve problems Interest in sustainability integrated with legal requirements Ability to market services LEED or CEM certifications are a plus Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, and Box Join us in shaping the future of MEP consulting services at Marx|Okubo.
