Senior Property Manager

Job Description Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner. Oversee lease agreements, renewals, and terminations. Ensure compliance with lease terms and conditions. Schedule and supervise maintenance and repairs. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety and compliance. Prepare and manage budgets, collect rent, and handle financial reporting. Monitor and control expenses. Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants. Show properties to prospective tenants and manage the leasing process. Assist in identifying and acquiring new properties. Conduct market research and analysis to support acquisition decisions. Ensure properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Stay updated on property management laws and best practices. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships. Supervisory Responsibilities Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of employees within designated area. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Qualifications Minimum of 7 years of experience in property management within commercial real estate, including direct responsibility for multiple properties or a large, complex asset. 5+ years of experience managing employees and leading property management teams. Strong working knowledge of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, as well as building operations and maintenance best practices. Experience conducting market research and analysis to support strategic decision-making, competitive positioning, and asset performance optimization. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with property management software, preferably Yardi, is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership ability, with excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and analytical skills. Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with tenants, vendors, ownership, and internal teams. A strong commitment to customer service excellence and maintaining positive tenant relationships. Experience with marketing of commercial properties is preferred. Offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The Salary range for this position is $115,000.00-$150,000.00.
