Senior Real Estate Attorney

Job Overview A reputable law firm is seeking a Senior Real Estate Attorney with substantial experience in commercial real estate finance. The ideal candidate will have experience handling lender and borrower-side transactions, including leverage transactions, preferred equity, and joint ventures. Location Duties Represent clients in complex commercial real estate transactions, including lender and borrower-side deals. Handle leverage transactions, preferred equity, and joint ventures. Provide legal guidance on real estate finance matters to clients, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Negotiate, draft, and review agreements related to real estate financing. Build and maintain relationships with clients, offering strategic legal counsel on complex real estate issues. Assist clients with risk management, due diligence, and other aspects of real estate finance. Manage and oversee transactions from start to finish, ensuring efficient and effective execution. Requirements Senior attorney with significant experience in commercial real estate finance. Experience with lender and borrower-side transactions, leverage transactions, preferred equity, and joint ventures is a plus. Bar admission needed. Strong academic credentials. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proven ability to manage complex transactions and provide strategic counsel to clients. Ability to communicate directly with clients and maintain strong client relationships. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to practice law. Skills Expertise in commercial real estate finance and transactions. Strong negotiation and drafting skills. Excellent communication and client management abilities.
