How You'll Make An Impact
The Sr. Claim Advocate oversees workers' compensation, general liability, auto liability and other claims for a diverse group of clients. This position requires a strategic approach to ensure all pertinent areas of claims are addressed, with action plans developed for cost-effective claim resolution. The Sr. Claim Advocate will assess potential exposure on claims, provide guidance for establishing accurate reserve analysis, and review litigated claims to mitigate ongoing exposure. Additionally, the role involves participating in quarterly claim reviews and providing stewardship reports to clients, identifying claim trends and data to compare their results against industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Claims Oversight:Manage and oversee workers' compensation, general liability, auto liability and other claims as needed for a diverse clientele, ensuring comprehensive coverage and resolution strategies. Action Plan Development:Develop and implement action plans aimed at cost-effective claim resolution, addressing all pertinent areas of claims. Exposure Assessment:Assess potential exposure on claims and provide guidance for establishing accurate reserve analysis. Litigated Claims Review: Review litigated claims, ensuring all issues are addressed and action plans are developed to mitigate ongoing exposure. Advocacy:Advocate for clients throughout the life of the claim to maximize results Analysis: Exercise judgment in escalating complicated or high exposure claims Process: Maintain claims information and documentation in approved diary system and database Quarterly Claim Reviews:Actively participate in quarterly claim reviews, providing solutions and insights to enhance claim management strategies. Stewardship Reporting:Prepare and deliver stewardship reports to clients, identifying claim trends and data to compare their results against industry standards. Meeting Participation: Present information at meetings addressing data analysis, claim trends, and resolution strategies.
About You
Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least 5 years of experience in claims management, particularly in workers' compensation, general liability, and auto liability claims. At least 5 years of experience in reviewing litigated claims and developing strategies to mitigate exposure. Demonstrated ability to prepare and present stewardship reports, identifying trends and comparing results against industry standards. Exceptional analytical, time management, and organizational skills, including ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage large volumes of information. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint Analytical Skills:Strong ability to assess claims and potential exposures, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in reserve analysis. Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders. Problem-Solving:Proactive approach to developing solutions and action plans for claim resolution and exposure mitigation. Industry Knowledge:In-depth understanding of workers' compensation, general liability, and auto liability claims, along with familiarity with industry standards. Client Management:Ability to manage diverse client needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance their claim management strategies. Presentation Skills: Ability to speak to a diverse audience in presenting data, key performance indicator and risk management strategies.
Compensation And Benefits
We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
