DESIGNER - Hybrid

A full time Designer level candidate is needed for a prominent activewear brand that does Mens, Womens and Kids apparel. This is a growing company with a newly launched womens division so the focus will be on designing womens performance pieces, and supplementing mens and kids. You will report to a Design Director and have support from a PD Associate. This is a HYBRID position with great flexibility. PLM, Photoshop and Illustrator experience are REQUIRED. Key Responsibilities Collaborate closely with the Design Director to translate seasonal direction into cohesive, innovative product assortments. Design and develop seasonal collections for men’s, women’s, and kids’—from initial concept to production. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, sustainable practices, and competitive research to inform new product ideas and innovations. Own and execute sketching, tech packs and line sheets with exceptional attention to detail. Maintain and update PLM systems, ensuring all product data is accurate and up to date. Lead and manage development tracking, calendars, and sample milestones. Act as a primary point of contact for vendors and factories, communicating design intent, updates, and technical feedback. Attend fittings and work closely with Tech to proactively troubleshoot design and fit issues. Partner cross-functionally with Product Development, Production, and Merchandising to drive timelines and deliverables. Manage multiple deadlines and priorities across all categories with minimal supervision. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field. 5–8+ years of design experience in athleisure, activewear or performance apparel. Experience designing across men’s, women’s, and kids’ categories strongly preferred. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and working knowledge of PLM platforms Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and performance fabrications. Excellent sketching, presentation, and communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous eye for detail. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
