We are seeking a talented and creative Senior Interior Designer to join our award winning team at Glow. While we are still a startup firm, Glow has an excellent national reputation as experts in Senior Living Design. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating environments that foster vitality and wellness, and a keen eye for detail.
*Responsibilities*
Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements for interior spaces. Manage junior design team on executing projects Develop design concepts that align with client goals while adhering to budget constraints. Create detailed design plans using software tools such as AutoCAD, REVIT, and Adobe Creative Suite. Prepare presentations and mood boards to communicate design ideas effectively. Select materials, furnishings, colors, and finishes that enhance the overall aesthetic of the space. Oversee remodeling projects from concept through completion, ensuring quality standards are met. Conduct site visits to assess project progress and make necessary adjustments. Coordinate with contractors, architects, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of designs. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
*Skills*
Seeking candidates with 5-15 years experience working in an Architecture or Interior Design firm in Senior Living, Multifamily or Hospitality Design. Pay scale is variable based on relevant experience. Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, REVIT, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, Word). Strong understanding of color theory and its application in interior design. Excellent budgeting skills to manage project costs effectively. Strong communication skills to articulate design concepts clearly to clients and team members. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
