to join the elite team of professionals operating the

Cathay Pacific Lounge

at Harvey Milk International Airport in San Francisco, CA. We seek a talented individual committed to creating and delivering a culinary-driven, upscale experience within a thoughtfully designed travel oasis. The ideal candidate will have eclectic menu knowledge and upscale to fine-dining experience, with a strong background in high-volume catering and events execution. This is a hands-on Chef role requiring previous experience managing upscale food production, preferably with a high-volume, scratch kitchen background from hotels or restaurants. Candidates with a strong foundation in Cantonese cuisine, fluency or working knowledge of Cantonese language, are highly valued. What You'll Do The successful candidate will: Be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis, and food production forecasting; Ensure Sodexo culinary standards, including recipe compliance and food quality, are maintained; Drive safety, sanitation, and HAACP compliance; Develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations; Ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards are met; and Have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems. What You Bring We seek candidates with: A strong culinary background and ability to stay current with culinary trends; 2-3 years minimum experience as an Executive Chef in recognized hospitality settings; Cantonese cuisine experience, with preference for familiarity with San Francisco local fare; Excellent leadership and communication skills to uphold high culinary standards; Strong coaching and employee development skills; and A passion for food and innovation.
