In the past decade, Tempur Sealy has donated over $100 million in mattresses to military personnel, first responders, and disaster relief efforts. Responsibilities:
Calculate material requirements to support production and generate purchase orders or contract releases based on pricing, delivery, and quality standards outlined in national agreements. Generate orders to release raw materials supporting plant production levels and enter purchase order data into our B2B database. Perform daily cycle counts to monitor inventory levels and order accuracy, aiding in future supply planning. Track material supply schedules within production plans to maintain inventory objectives. Place orders for non-contract purchases as needed and input purchase order data accordingly. Coordinate with accounts payable to resolve discrepancies related to receipts and invoices. Reschedule materials as needed to meet production requirements, expediting open purchase orders and contract releases. Obtain MSDS records for new materials and supplies. Salary Range: $48,400 - $68,200 Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or related fields. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management. Excellent communication and organizational skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and material management systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
