SENIOR CONSULTANT ROLE DESCRIPTION The role of a Senior Consultant is a pivotal part of a successful Kotter engagement team. In support of the Engagement Lead on an account, you will assist in the design, delivery and facilitation of client meetings, working sessions, and workshops and will be instrumental in producing and tracking client deliverables. The role requires strong project management skills and analytical ability, creativity and presentation skills. Additionally, you may be asked to facilitate the suite of courses within Kotter’s Change curriculum in support of Kotter’s Training services.
While driving transformation and different ways of working within our client engagements, this role will involve conducting stakeholder interviews and synthesizing findings, conducting stakeholder and impact analyses, drafting charters and communications plans, as well as utilizing additional change management tools and frameworks. Working directly with clients, both on-site as well as virtually, strong relationship building capability with multiple stakeholders of all levels is necessary. Surrounded by a team of talented professionals, you will be exposed to all facets of leadership, transformation and Kotter’s proven research and process.
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Senior Consultant are wide ranging and varied in support of our client engagements. The nature of this support will vary from engagement to engagement, depending on the size and complexity of the account. This is a client-facing role requiring session design and participation virtually and on-site resulting in significant travel at times.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES | WHAT YOU WILL DO Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assisting in the design, implementation and delivery of client meetings, working sessions and L&D workshops
Facilitating the suite of courses within Kotter’s training curriculum
Monitoring and maintaining client dashboards, key milestones, and deliverables
Developing compelling and visually creative client content
Drafting stakeholder communications and relevant talking points
Facilitating client initiative teams throughout the Kotter process to deliver meaningful business results and behavior change
Supporting the Kotter engagement team with the administration of activities and project management on an engagement. Types of support provided will include, but are not limited to: analytics, document preparation, digital filing/recording, scheduling, and other administrative/engagement support needs.
Assisting in research and RFP responses for business development opportunities
Providing technical support utilizing a variety of platforms such as Zoom, Miro, Slack, Actionable, Resource Management, etc.
