Job Summary: Infosys is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, seeking a highly skilled AWS - Cloud Center of Excellence (COE) Expert to lead their cloud initiatives. The role involves defining and implementing AWS cloud strategy, developing governance policies, optimizing cloud costs, and driving innovation in cloud usage. Responsibilities: • Cloud Strategy: Define and implement the organization's AWS cloud strategy, aligning with business goals. • Governance: Develop and enforce cloud governance policies, ensuring compliance and security. • Optimization: Measure and optimize cloud costs, leveraging tools like AWS Cost Explorer and CloudHealth. • Innovation: Drive innovation and continuous improvement in cloud usage, staying ahead of market trends. • AMI Management: Create, manage, and optimize Amazon Machine Images (AMI) for various applications. • Landing Zones: Design and implement AWS Landing Zones to ensure secure and scalable cloud environments. • Transit Hubs: Configure and manage AWS Transit Hubs for efficient network connectivity. • Training: Provide training and support to cloud users, fostering a culture of cloud excellence. • Collaboration: Work with senior leadership to define a clear vision for cloud adoption and cultural change. • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud processes and procedures. Qualifications: Required: • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Raleigh, NC, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US • At least 7 years of Information Technology experience. • 7 years' experience in IT cloud architecture and AWS services. • Proficient in AWS services, cloud governance, and cost optimization. • Experience with AWS Cost Explorer, CloudHealth, and other cloud management tools. • Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time Preferred: • AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or similar certifications. • Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and best practices, including AMI, Landing Zones, and Transit Hubs.
