As a Principal Product Designer within our Guest UX Team, you’ll shape Target’s evolving digital experience for our guests and contribute to business growth. You will work with the loyalty team to set the NorthStar and experience strategy for our loyalty program, including awareness, understanding, and engagement with benefits at Target. You’ll collaborate with partners across Target in loyalty, marketing, product, engineering, and other UX teams to develop new value and experiences across web, app, and in-store for omni-channel guests. Your focus will be on shaping and evolving the program, aligning with key guest outcomes in program strategy and membership engagement lifecycle. Responsibilities

Set UX strategy and vision for product experience across digital platforms, influencing investments and collaborations. Lead and coordinate efforts among cross-functional teams and engage with senior stakeholders. Navigate complexity and ambiguity while delivering impact for guests and the business. Maintain high standards of design craft, including accessibility, content, user research, IA, interaction, and visual design. Drive strategy and creation of design deliverables like journey maps, wireframes, user flows, UI design, and prototypes. Champion qualitative and quantitative research methods in design decisions. Promote a culture of human-centered design within UX, product, and engineering teams. Support and develop junior product designers and advance UX practices at Target. About you

10+ years of relevant product design experience. Proficient in UX and product design, with strong organizational and ownership skills. Expert in strategic problem-solving, systems thinking, and collaboration. Proficient in design and prototyping tools like Figma. Adept at using data and insights to guide design decisions. Experienced in presenting to and collaborating with executive leadership, with effective storytelling skills. Able to articulate how design enhances business value. This position may be remote or hybrid ('Flex for Your Day'), depending on Target’s needs. Remote work means working full-time from home or an alternative location, with minimal travel.
