Peoria, IL , where you'll work with state-of-the-art technologies including: Varian TrueBeam
with VMAT, SBRT, SRS, HyperArc, RGM, and SGRT HDR Bravos Brachytherapy
with integrated imaging Gamma Knife Radiosurgery
(upgrade to Esprit coming soon) Varian ProBeam 360 Proton Therapy Theranostics & Y-90 Eclipse, RayStation, ARIA, SunCheck, BrachyVision, MiM Maestro, and more You'll be part of a large, collaborative team including
8 physicists, 8 dosimetrists, and 14 radiation oncologists , supporting an expansive oncology program across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities: Deliver and maintain precise, safe, and compliant radiation therapy Perform QA on therapy equipment, simulation systems, and planning software Support treatment planning and commissioning across various modalities Receive full training in Proton Therapy if not already experienced Minimum Qualifications: Masters degree in Medical Physics ABR or ABMP Certification (or eligible within 1 year) 1+ year of clinical experience in 3D, IMRT, QA, and calibration Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. from CAMPEP-accredited program Completion of a two-year residency or fellowship 3+ years experience including HDR and I-131 therapy This is a rare opportunity to advance your career in a progressive and supportive environment, with access to cutting-edge radiation therapy solutions and a multi-modality team.
