Position Summary Europa Sports Partners has an immediate need for an Operations Supervisor with a heavy focus on receiving in its Charlotte, NC, 3PL facility. The Operations Supervisor (Receiving) is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse activities in Europa Sports Partners’ third-party logistics (3PL) environment, ensuring productivity, accuracy, safety, and customer success standards are consistently met. This role provides leadership to warehouse associates, coordinates with multiple departments, and supports process improvements to achieve operational goals. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Team Leadership • Supervise, train, and coach warehouse associates in receiving, picking, packing, kitting, shipping, and inventory control. • Schedule and assign work to meet daily operational requirements. • Conduct performance reviews and enforce company policies and safety standards. Operational Execution • Oversee daily warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, returns, and inventory functions. • Ensure orders are processed accurately and shipped on time according to service-level agreements (SLAs). • Monitor and manage workflow to prevent bottlenecks and downtime. • Coordinate with customer success, inventory control, and other teams to resolve order discrepancies. • High accuracy in counting, documentation, and quality checks. • Maintain equipment, inspection and reporting issues, enforcing safe operation.
Receiving Duties • Directly manage the inbound receiving process, from the arrival of goods to their final put-away. • Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists. • Coordinate with carriers and vendors to schedule delivery appointments and resolve discrepancies. • Perform and oversee cycle counts to maintain accurate Inventory records and identify variances. • Ensure all received products are inspected for damage and properly documented. • Oversee the efficient and accurate put-away of inventory into designated storage locations. Process & Performance Management • Monitor KPIs including productivity, accuracy, on-time shipping, and safety metrics. • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. • Maintain compliance with OSHA and other applicable safety regulations. Communication & Coordination • Act as a liaison between warehouse staff, carriers, and management. • Participate in daily or weekly operations meetings. • Communicate operational updates and priorities to the team. ________________________________________ Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred. • 3+ years of warehouse or distribution center experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role (3PL experience strongly preferred). • Forklift Certification • Proficient in Excel, proficient in daily, quarterly, bi-annual and annual cycle count audits. • Proficiency with WMS systems, RF scanners, and Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) preferred • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Ability to a flexible and/or rotating shift. ________________________________________ Physical Requirements • Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. • Comfortable working in warehouse conditions with variable temperatures.
