Join the Issaquah Parks & Community Services team as a Basketball Site Lead this Fall/Winter! As a Basketball Site Lead, you’ll play a key role in the organization, supervision, and success of our Youth Basketball League at a designated satellite location. You’ll be the go-to lead staff onsite, ensuring operations run smoothly, games start on time, coaches and staff receive support and feedback, and players and families have a positive experience.
The chosen candidates will work primarily on Saturdays, and the season runs from early November 2025 to mid-March 2026. Additional hours may be available upon request.

Ensure proper program procedures are followed, both about safety and program guidelines. Open and close the assigned site as well as supervise the site throughout the day. Supervise participants, coaches, and other Parks & Community Services staff assigned to your site. Referee and score-keep youth basketball games and actively mentor referees. Custodial tasks as needed. Ensure all Issaquah Parks & Community Services and Issaquah School District rules and policies are adhered to. Must be at least 18 years old. Must be able to pass a background check to work with children. Ability to work independently. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coaches, parents, volunteers, and coworkers. Ability to lead referees, coaches, and other staff assigned to your site. Ability to assist in instructional tasks. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Ability to work weekends or other irregular hours as necessary. MUST HAVE
or ability to obtain CPR and AED Certifications. Familiarity with basketball, particularly for those working with older youths. Prefer applicants with enthusiasm for sports, basketball knowledge, and confidence in working with youth.
